  7.               DIVINE HEALING IS A PART OF SALVATION
  8. Jesus the Healer cannot be separated from Jesus the Saviour, and if
  9. you want healing for your body, you must be willing to receive
  10. healing for your sins.  God's order is expressed in Psalm 103:3,
  11. "Who FORGIVETH all thine INIQUITIES; who HEALETH all thy DISEASES."
  12.                               First - Forgiveness for your sins
  13.                               Second - Healing for your diseases
  14.  
  15. For every promise, there is always a condition!
  16. God's condition for His healing covenant in Exodus 23:25 was "Ye
  17. shall SERVE the Lord your God ... AND He will bless your bread and
  18. your water, and I will remove sickness from your midst." When the
  19. condition is fulfilled, then He promised "I will take sickness away
  20. from the midst of thee".
  21.  
  22. Until you know God's Will concerning healing, you have no basis for
  23. faith.  When we know it is His Will to heal us, we have no
  24. difficulty in praying with faith. (1 John 5:14,15).  YOU CAN ONLY
  25. APPROPRIATE BY FAITH THAT WHICH YOU KNOW IS PROVIDED FOR IN THE
  26. GOSPEL.

  28. Through the Redemptive work of Christ, both salvation and bodily
  29. healing were provided.

  31. Through the types in Leviticus l4, we see that, under the law of
  32. Moses, it was constantly through atonement that sickness was
  33. healed. (Atonement, Hebrew "KAPHAR", to cover, cancel.  Greek
  34. "KATALLAGE", exchange, reconciliation).(Lev.16-Law of Atonement;
  35. Leviticus 17 - Blood for atonement)
  36. In Matthew 8:17 it states that Jesus healed ALL diseases.  Christ
  37. made no exceptions while healing the sick who came to Him, because
  38. His atonement was for all. (Rom.5:11) ("whosoever" John 3:16 - and
  39. that includes US)! WHAT CALVARY PROVIDES IS FOR EVERYONE.

  41. No-one can be "justified by faith" until it is preached to them -
  42. and how could you receive healing by faith until it is preached to
  43. you?
  44.  
  45. Psalm 107:20 "He sent His Word and  healed  them  and  delivered 
  46.                them  from  their destructions."
  47.  
  48. Prov. 4:22     To those that attend to the Word and "find" it, it
  49.                is health to all their flesh.
  50.  
  51. 1 Thess. 2:12  It is the Word of God that effectually works in
  52.                those that believe.

  54. God's way of saving us through being "born again" - of healing
  55. the body - of doing whatever He wants to do - is to SEND HIS WORD
  56. - and THEN FULFIL THAT WORD WHERE IT PRODUCES FAITH.

  58. God has 7 REDEMPTIVE NAMES and these were given for the specific
  59. purpose of revealing God's Redemptive attitude to man.  These
  60. Redemptive names tell us what our redemption includes! The 
  61. blessings revealed to us in each one of these names are all in
  62. the Attonment.

  64. JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH -   "the Lord is Present" Eph. 2:13 "we are made
  65.                     nigh by  the blood of His Cross."
  66. JEHOVAH-SHALOM -    "the Lord is our Peace" Is. 53:5, "the
  67.                     chastisement of  our  peace was upon Him"(the
  68.                     chastening for our well-being fell upon Him
  69.                     and by His scourging we are healed." NASB)
  70. JEHOVAH-RA-AH -     "the Lord is my Shepherd" - He gave His life
  71.                     for the sheep Jn.10:11 
  72. JEHOVAH-JIREH -     "the Lord will provide" - Christ was the
  73.                     offering provided on Calvary.  Hebrews 10:10
  74. JEHOVAH-NISSI -     "the Lord our banner" - He became our banner
  75.                     by spoiling principality and powers on the
  76.                     Cross (Col. 2:15)
  77. JEHOVAH-TSIDKENU -  "the Lord our righteousness" - He made it
  78.                     possible for every person who believes to
  79.                     receive the gift of righteousness Rom. 5:17 
  80. JEHOVAH-RAPHA -     "I am the Lord that healeth thee" - Matt.
  81.                     8:17 Himself (Jesus) took our infirmities and
  82.                     bare our sicknesses.

  84. THE BRAZEN SERPENT was a type of Christ (John 3:14, Numbers
  85. 21:9).  The people were told to "look upon it and live".  If
  86. bodily healing is not provided in the Atonement, then why would
  87. these dying persons be instructed to look at the type of the
  88. Atonement for their physical healing? Their curse was removed by
  89. the lifting up of the type of Christ and ours is removed also by
  90. the lifting up of Christ. (John 3:14, 8:28, John 12:32,33)

  92. OUR REDEMPTIVE BLESSINGS ARE CONDITIONAL! John 3:16, 1 John 3:2,
  93. James 5:14,15 1 Peter 5:7, Luke 6:38
  94.  
  95. Every promise carries a condition and we must make sure that we
  96. OBEY ALL GOD'S WORD Only when your heart does not condemn you,
  97. can you have confidence towards God.  Deuteronomy 28 describes t
  98. e@curse (which includes different diseases) that came upon people
  99. because of their disobedience and because their service to the
  100. Lord was not done "with gladness and joyfulness of heart".  We
  101. can see, therefore, that in order to have the curse removed, A
  102. CHANGE OF HEART AND ATTITUDE IS NEEDED.

  104. God does not lower His standards because we are in the day of His
  105. Grace.  The obedient ones who do His Word still receive the
  106. fulfilment of the Promise.Is.1:19,Ps.37:4, Matt.6:33, James 4:7,
  107. Matthew 4:4.

  109. We should desire healing to be strong for service to God! 
  110. We should desire healing for the glory of God!
  111. We should desire healing because we desire His total Will in our
  112. lives.

  114. Prov. 3:7,8 God's Word declares that if you will fear the Lord
  115. and depart from evil, it will be health(medicine) to your navel
  116. and marrow (Moistening) to your bones.
  117. Eph. 6:2,3 "Honour thy father and mother that it may be well with
  118. you, and that you may live long on the earth."
  119.  
  120. FAITH ALWAYS INVOLVES OBEDIENCE TO ALL THE WORD.  1 Cor. 15.3 4

  122. Rom. 12:1  Present your @d a living sacrifice to God if  you 
  123. want  it  to  be  healed.
  124. TOUCH HIM AND BE MADE WHOLE    Matt. 14:36
  125. Don't hold on to any sin, bias, selfishness, resentment, doubt,
  126. fear, tradition of man or the lies of the devil.
  127. HOW CAN YOU TOUCH HIM? Believe His Word! ASK & believe He hears
  128. when you pray.:
  129. IT IS YOUR MOVE! God has provided healing and every other
  130. blessing for us in His Word. You must now move before He moves
  131. again.
  132. OUR MOVE is to ACT ON HIS WORD; EXPECTING TO RECEIVE; BELIEVING
  133. BEFORE SEEING!

  135. After seeing that Jesus bore our diseases as well as our sins on
  136. the Cross, and therefore we don't have to bear them, our next
  137. move is to pray and believe that we receive.  Mark 11:24.  While
  138. you are sick, when you pray, believe that God hears and answers. 
  139. When you pray, believe that you receive the answer, and you shall
  140. have it! Then say "Father, I thank you that You have heard me."
  141. OUR FAITH CAUSES GOD TO ACT. Hebrews   11:6
